Rachael earned her BA in Theatre Arts from CUNY Hunter College in New York City. She has been performing in plays since she was 5, and continues to perform with several theatre groups around Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Rachel has been a part of CDL since August 2018, and looks forward to many more successful shows.

Assistant CEE Program Manager

Having had her first theatre experience with the Center for Dynamic Learning, Renee has been in love with theatre ever since. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 2015 with a bachelor's in general theatre, and with a master's in theatre education from Emerson College in 2018.  She enjoys working with students and families to ensure they've given quality programming and content.  Acting, directing, stage managing, technical theatre and play-writing are all skills in Renee's back pocket as she continues to grow in the theatre field.

Executive Director

 Beth is the founder of Traveling Theatre and has been the visionary behind its evolution into The Center for Dynamic Learning since 2003. Beth also serves as the artistic director of Imagine Productions. She holds a BA in Theatre and received her MFA from Rhode Island College with a concentration in Performance and Society. She has been seen performing on stages throughout Rhode Island such as, Barker Play House, Pawtucket Community Players, Mill River Theater and Rhode Island College. Elizabeth has produced and directed a multitude of plays and original works of which her favorites include How Far Have We Come, An Artists’ Jubilee, A Celebration of New England Artistry, Positively Aware, (Mis)perceptions of living with HIV/AIDS, Conversations With My 12 Year Old Self and From Birmingham Jail. She has studied under such greats as Jennifer Mudge, Bob Colona, Fred Sullivan, Jr., Wendy Overly, Jean Claude van Itallie, P. William Hutchinson, Pig Iron Theatre, Eva Marie Pacheco, Curt Columbus, Naum Panovski and Rose Weaver. Her passion for teaching the arts to students of all ages and abilities led her to develop the concepts and curriculum for workshops provided by Traveling Theatre. She has more than 18 years of Teaching Artist experience and one of her greatest desires is to establish an accredited public school in Rhode Island which will focus on education beyond the classroom for elementary and middle school youth. Beth is a proud member of the Leadership Rhode Island THETA II and a Graduated member of the RI Foundations Emerging Leaders Program.

Chief Operating Officer
An engineer by name, Kevin is well known for his craft. He has spent his entire career expanding his knowledge and increasing his hands on skill-set in multiple disciplines in the Manufacturing/engineering fields. He has more than 20 years of experience in the environmentally friendly design and fabrication of advanced manufacturing processes, R&D prototype design and creation, robotic systems, consumer products, advanced PLC controlled mechanisms and equipment.  Kevin is an affirmed industrial artist who creates industrial artwork using recycled metals, glass, plastics, and stone.  When Kevin is not working, he spends as much time as possible scuba diving, free diving, snorkeling and deep sea fishing.

Development Coordinator and STEAMM Educator

Enthusiastic laughter is the way Nate Banks brings their talent to the Center for Dynamic Learning. As a former youth participant of Traveling Theater during their elementary and middle school aged years. Nate is familiar with the way Youth Theater can bring a group of young actors together. Nate is a recent graduate from Rhode Island College with their degree in English and is excited to bring their passion for community, collaboration and theater to CDL. Nate is a Rhode Island resident who grew up in the schools that our programming currently takes place which makes Nate a familiar face to our CDL family. Nate lives by the three Cs of life: Collaboration, Communication and of course, Comedy!

As an advocate for all youth, John has brought his natural talent of connecting with youth from various backgrounds to The Center for Dynamic Learning. John first realized his passion to work with the youth & the community at 17yrs old, when he became a part of the outreach ministry in his local church. Traveling the state with his ministry team to engage & foster new relationships with communities throughout. John has 5+ yrs of experience working in the non-profit sector; he has given motivational speeches to local elementary schools, supervised group homes with behavioral challenges, along with autistic children in home-based settings. John spends his off time with his 4 children, and his wife. As they love to travel, looking for new learning opportunities for their children, trying new adventures and new restaurants.

Choreography and STEAMM Educator

Rachel has been an avid performer her entire life. She started as a ballet dancer for The State Ballet of Rhode Island and performed with them for 13 years. She has been involved in many musicals her favorite role to date is Kristine in A Chorus Line. Rachel has also been teaching for several years. She has been a gymnastics coach for 4 years and currently is a preschool gymnastics coach at The Gymnastic Place. She has directed, choregraphed, stage managed, and worked in all parts of the theater. Rachel is currently studying to be an Elementary Education Major at Rhode Island College.  ​

STEAMM Educator/Sr. Engineering Technician

Donovan has always had the passion and desire to be an Engineer...now years later he’s able to bring his wits , technical skills and experience in Engineering and Building to CDL to help teach ,create and develop young minds ... His positive attitude and work ethics has always made  such a great impact on those around him and as such his cool calm demeanor has earned him the nickname “ the office teddy bear “ ... Donovan is ecstatic and excited to be a part of the CDL family.. and loves working with and admired everyone at CDL. 
Donovan is Training to be CDL's Lead STEAMM Technical Instructor and Sr. Engineering Technician.

Program Manager and STEAMM Educator

Lauren is a graduate of SUNY Purchase in New York, with a degree in Theatre and Performance and a minor in Gender Studies. In the past, she has been a teaching artist at the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theater, as well as a theatre educator at Belvoir Terrace. Now, she is ecstatic to be a part of the CDL family! Her first semi-professional production, 'We Are the Children's Eyes', will be premiering at The Contemporary Theatre Company at the end of March.

Operations Coordinator and STEAMM Educator

Nikki is an accomplished educator, performer and stylist. With ten years of teaching experience she combines her passion for education with her love for the stage. She is an alumnus of the Aveda Institute and often brings her background in hair, makeup and design to performances. She is actively perusing a bachelor’s degree in education and the arts. She is looking forward to growing in her position and bringing her many talents to the CDL Team.
